Andrew Blackmore

The natural world, especially its lepidoptera, has been a lifelong interest and provides the core to my work. I am inspired by any scene that I am lucky enough to capture which represents the feel and mood of a particular place or subject. Our continuously evolving landscape is majestic yet fragile, and the Jurassic coastline of Dorset is where the majority of my current inspiration is drawn.

Helen Merideth

Helen studied zoology at UCL, Frank Knox Fellow Harvard University, Primatology and Environmental Conservation. She did her Masters at Syt Cross College Oxford in Biodiversity Conservation and Management.

She has contributed an essential vocabulary list for Earth Expo. We have called it Eco Babble: Big words for a small planet. She has sought to define the long and overused words used to describe "Environmentalism"!  We hope it will help children make sense of the discussions, about the planet, by understanding some key words, simply described.
